GAME EDITIONS
1st Edition
If your game features the 1st Edition marking, it indicates that it was produced with the original artwork and game rules, likely in limited quantities rather than mass production. To preserve its value, consider keeping the game in its original box and taking good care of it, as it could become a collectible item in the future.
Handmade
If your game features the handmade marking, it means the components—primarily the cards—were individually crafted and finished by Craig Skobel during the earliest stages of Skobel Games, prior to mass production. These are among the very first games ever created by the company. To preserve its potential value as a collectible, consider keeping the game in its original box and taking good care of it.
ABOUT
Skobel Games is an independent tabletop, board and card games publisher located in Wombourne, South Staffordshire. All the games are created and designed in house at the Skobel Games workshop by the owner
Craig Skobel.
The company was established in 2022, however many of the games under the Skobel Games name first came into fruition back in 2019/2020 with Craig spending many years and months developing existing games whilst creating new additions along the way. Tiger was the first game published by Skobel Games with many more due to be released in 2023.
MISSION
Skobel Games objective is to bring to the gaming market unique varied games with low environmental impact as possible, minimising the use of plastic and creating unnecessary waste.
